Melbourne Experience
Students take part in an experience away from school.
Two days are spent in the city, navigating their way around, without direct teacher supervision. They complete a scavenger hunt and several other tasks relating to significant Melbourne landmarks. The scavenger hunt includes locating various points of interest around the city, while the individual tasks involve navigating their way from one tourist attraction to another, usually on opposite sides of the city. Along their travels they need to take note of their surroundings by identifying pieces of artwork and restaurants.
To top all this off the students also take part in a tour of the Shrine of Remembrance.
